As we inch further away from the summer solstice, kids have returned to school and beach vacations are in the rear-view mirror, our attention turns to weekend golf getaways.
Packing a lot into a little box is often difficult; or just finding a unique place to relax, somewhere distinct yet with variety, can seem at times to be an impossible task.
And just when you think you’ve been everywhere in North Carolina, booked all the viable golf packages or discovered most of the hidden gems amidst the state’s 600 or so layouts, a new twist, a new breakthrough in the industry is uncorked, so to speak.
